Do you have a dream destination? Is there a far-away place you absolutely MUST see?

My dream destination has always been India. The colorful art, exotic textiles, and the saucy curries  tantalized and intrigued me for as long as I can remember.

Back in 2007 I finally traveled to India. I traveled as a solo tourist, so I had to invest on a fully escorted tour.  My trip was too short… only 9 days. It was an awesome journey, nevertheless!

Now I have the honor to travel once more to India, this time as a visiting educator on a Fulbright-Hays Seminar.  On this blog I will share my insights as I  research and work on my  Project, which is to develop a professional development unit  on the implementation of reading motivation strategies for middle school classroom teachers.

If you care to see my new TRAVEL BLOG about India, you can fly over to 2010Namaste.blogspot.com There I will chat about what to pack, what to wear, what to do, and what to eat.

I hope you will share with me YOUR dream destination. I want to hear about it. After all, I’m just a middle school librarian. 😉
